Last night, I had another sleepless night. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t fall back asleep. Looking back on 2025, it was the most difficult year of my life. This year, I experienced the longest probationary period of my life. More than two years of probation, and it’s still not over. In January 2024, I was appointed as the office director, with a six-month probationary period. Until the end of the probationary period, my salary didn’t increase by even a penny. Then, in May 2025, I was appointed as the company’s board secretary, and the chairman told me that my salary wouldn’t increase yet, “consider it a probationary period.” Even now, there’s still no word on a salary increase.
